Simple Virtues | Everything Changes | Custom
StorySong Simple Virtues Workshop
SSC’s Simple Virtues Workshop develops a strong sense of self, solid core values, and good character in kids. Kids are prepared in advance for this full day-intensive with StorySong Simple Virtue Sing-a-Long Workbooks and companion CD which are read, sung, and discussed in advance a group leader, parent or educator.

The workshop begins with a guided discussion with Dan Hall about the meaning of good character. Kids are encouraged to explore their thoughts and feelings about such fundamental values as: responsibility, tolerance, integrity, caring, sharing, good stewardship and self esteem. Dan and the kids compose their own StorySongs about what they’ve learned, and the workshop culminates with the children performing their storysongs for their teachers and parents. Their performance is professionally produced and recorded by Dan Hall’s crew. CD’s of the kids singing their own storysongs are later distributed a lasting keepsake that the entire family can enjoy.
StorySong Everything Changes Clinic

SSC’s Everything Changes Clinic helps kids cope with difficult transitions and sudden changes, and develop the resiliency and sense of personal security they will need to flourish in an increasingly unpredictable world. Kids are prepared in advance for this half day-intensive with StorySong Everything Changes Sing-a-Long Workbooks and companion CD which are read, sung, and discussed with the kids in advance with a group leader, parent or educator. The workshop begins with a guided discussion with Dan Hall where students are encouraged to talk about the changes they’ve experienced in their own lives. Dan and the kids compose their own StorySongs about what they’ve learned and the workshop culminates with the children performing their storysongs for their teachers and parents. Their performance is professionally produced and recorded by Dan Hall’s crew. CD’s of the kids singing their own storysongs are later distributed a lasting keepsake that kids can hold on to, no matter what changes.
Pick your subject and StorySong Creations will design a StorySong Workshop to communicate your lesson plan in a new and lasting way. Each workshop begins with a guided discussion about your subject of choice, followed by a composition session where kids write their own storysongs about the curriculum being studied which are recorded and performed for parents and teachers. Professionally produced CD’s of the children’s storysongs are distributed at the end of the workshop as a lasting memory of lessons and good times shared. Workshop subjects in the past include the art of Vincent Van Gogh, the progress of springtime, or the history of light houses. This workshop is a unique way to blend curriculum with the arts, and teach kids important lessons and crucial tools of creative self expression that they will cherish forever.
